Hi everyone! My name is Erica Holloway and these cuties in the picture with me are my daughters Rylee and Zoey and my husband Michael. My love for flowers started at about 20 when I first got a job at a florist as a customer sales rep. But my creativity and eye for colors started much earlier as I always loved all types of art.
I began making arrangements for the flower shop soon after and was promoted to designer within a few months. For the next 4 years I did it all. Weddings, funerals, homecomings, holidays, etc. I even ordered the flowers from the wholesalers and did inventory for the store. I then received my degree in Business Management, got married and got a more 9-5 business job.
Since then I have helped family and friends with weddings, anniversaries and other special events but it wasn’t until my friends wedding earlier this year, when she asked me to do her bouquets, that I realized how much I really missed being a florist. More specifically a wedding/special event designer.
Which is where Bloomin on a Budget comes in! I want to be able to offer people a discounted rate on flowers for their wedding but still be able to give them exactly what they envisioned for their special day. This also gives me the opportunity to do something i really love more often. 💐
